Bi-Monthly Billing

Nicor has three types of bi-monthly billing:

Summer Billing

• Nicor Gas issues two bills over four months.
• Each bill will display two months of gas usage and other charges.
• The date your summer billing begins is determined by your meter read date, but generally runs June through September.
• If you're on the Budget Plan, the timing of your bills will not change.

Budget Plan

• Most Budget Plan customers receive two bills in one envelope every other month.
• To keep your account current, pay each bill by its due date.

Cooking and Water Heating Customers

• Customers that do not use natural gas to heat their homes receive one bill for two months of service all year round.
