No, the Supplier Diversity Program helps companies to be considered for business with Nicor Gas. We cannot guarantee that registering will ensure business.

Q4. What are the benefits of joining Nicor Gas' Supplier Diversity Program?
Some benefits of joining Nicor Gas' Supplier Diversity Program are:

• Some of our best diverse suppliers have received numerous awards for excellence.
• Working with Nicor Gas can lead to opportunities to work with other comparable companies.
• Nicor Gas is a member of the regional affiliates of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), and frequently networks with supplier diversity organizations.

Q5. I'm not a minority or women owned supplier. Can I still be a part of Nicor Gas' Supplier Diversity Program? 
Yes. We recognize the value of non-diverse suppliers who do business with diverse suppliers and subcontractors. If your company is not diverse, but you demonstrate use or willingness to use diverse suppliers, you are eligible for our Second Tier Program.
