Adventures in Reading with Nicor
Nicor and Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) have partnered to foster a life-long love of reading among lower elementary school children in our service territory. The Adventures in Reading program integrates parent, teacher and student learning. "Super Reader," a super hero character, was developed to help motivate and encourage the students to read.

Scholarship America
Nicor Gas helps students realize their educational aspirations by supporting the Dollars for Scholars program, a network of foundations that raise scholarship funds to support local students, and ScholarShop, a curriculum and resource center for motivating and preparing students in grades 4-12.
